I went to the Basement tribute show and it was probably one of the best shows I’ve ever seen (even though I’m probably a bit Joni biased). I’ve been calling the basement ever since to see when they would put on another one. Can’t wait!

ditto ditto! i cannot WAIT to hear K Noonan and hope that she does Conversation! But as a long-time Joni fan what I really want to hear is most of the Hejira album done by Wendy Matthews.

We were so fortunate to see Katie perform “Blue”….in it’s whole mesmerising entirety at The Powerhouse recently ! To hear my absolute favourite Australian songstress sing my absolute favourite album from start to finish (in order !) was, for me, the concert highlight of the decade…..we have such a treasure in KATIE and these concerts are going to be unmissable !

I’m such a Joni fan and I saw the show at The Basement in Sydney a few years ago and was blown away. The singers and the band were amazing and I’ve been hanging out for them to do another one. Can’t wait!

I didn’t know Katie had done the whole Blue album, that would have been gorgeous. I hope that this will be a tribute not just to Joni’s incredible voice and songwriting, but to her virtuoso GUITAR PLAYING as well (remember Jimmy Page got down on his knees and bowed to her?), so if the Australian singers are not playing guitar, then those who do so – and those who play piano and dulcimer too! – are half of the show. “Cold Blue Steel and Sweet Fire” would be amazing to hear!
